تهدف الدراسة التعرف إلى مستوى تقدير صورة الجسد وعلاقتها بالصلابة النفسية لدى مريضات السرطان في محافظة رام الله والبيرة، وتقصي الفروق في متوسطات كل من صورة الجسد والصلابة النفسية تبعا لمتغيرات: العمر، الحالة الاجتماعية، المؤهل العلمي.
ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة تم استخدم المنهج الوصفي الارتباطي، استخدم مقياسان للدراسة، وهما: مقياس صورة الجسد، ومقياس الصلابة النفسية، وكلاهما تم تطبيقهما على عينة ضمنت (89) من مريضات السرطان في محافظة رام الله والبيرة في العام 2020 / 2021م.
بينت النتائج أن مستوى تقدير صورة الجسد كان مرتفعا، وتشير النتائج إلى عدم وجود فروق دالة إحصائيا في تقدير صورة الجسد تبعا لمتغير: العمر، الحالة الاجتماعية، المؤهل العلمي.
كما أظهرت النتائج أن مستوى الصلابة النفسية كان مرتفعا، وتشير النتائج إلى عدم وجود فروق دالة إحصائيا في الصلابة النفسية تبعا لمتغير: العمر، والمؤهل العلمي، بينما كانت الفروق دالة إحصائيا في الصلابة النفسية تبعا لمتغير الحالة الاجتماعية لصالح المرأة (المتزوجة).
وأظهرت النتائج وجود علاقة ارتباط دالة إحصائيا بين تقدير صورة الجسد والصلابة النفسية لدى مريضات السرطان، وجاءت العلاقة طردية؛ بمعنى أنه كلما ازدادت درجة تقدير صورة الجسد ازداد مستوى الصلابة النفسية.
English Abstract
The study aims to find out the level of body image appreciation concerning psychological hardness of cancer patients in Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate, it investigates the differences in the averages of both body image and psychological hardness according to variables: age, marital status, and educational qualification.
To achieve the objectives of the study, the descriptive correlation approach is used, with two study scales: The Body Image Scale and The Psychological Hardness Scale, and both were applied to a sample that included 89 cancer patients in Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate.
The results show that the level of body image estimation was high, and the results indicates that there are no statistically significant differences in the estimation of the body image according to variables: age, marital status, and educational qualification.The results also show that the level of psychological hardness was high, and the results indicates that there are no statistically significant differences in psychological hardness according to the variables: age and educational qualification, while the differences are statistically significant in psychological hardness according to the variable of marital status in favor of the married woman.
The results show a statistically significant correlation between body image estimation and psychological hardness in cancer patients: the correlation was direct; Meaning, the higher-level estimation of body image, the higher the level of psychological hardness.
