Abstract EN

The aim of the research is to develop the performance of public secondary school principals in the capital Sana’a in the light of the administrative creativity approach, by revealing the reality of the administrative performance of secondary school principals in the capital Sana’a in light of the administrative creativity approach, and identifying ways to develop the performance of school principals in light of the creativity approach, and to achieve the objectives of the researcher used the descriptive survey method, and designed a questionnaire that consisted of (48) items.

the questionnaire was applied to a sample of (422) individuals, including: (87) male and female principals, and (335) male and female teachers, who were chosen by stratified random method.

the data was analyzed by the statistical packages program (SPSS) using appropriate statistical methods, and the research reached a set of results, the most important of which are: 1-the degree of administrative performance practice in light of the administrative creativity approach in all its fields was "medium", with a mean (3.30).

2- the degree of approval of the sample members on the mechanisms of developing the administrative performance of secondary school principals in the capital Sana’a in light of the creativity approach came to a "very large" degree, with an average of (4.20).

no significant differences appeared at (at <0.05) depending on the gender variable (males-females), while there are differences in the axis of the reality of administrative performance due to the job title (manager-teacher), and in favor of the managers.

the study recommended providing mechanisms and means to develop the administrative performance of secondary school principals in the capital Sana’a, and designing training programs aimed at improving their performance and transforming them into creative leaders.
