Abstract EN

The current study aimed to investigate the degree to which Palestinian mathematics teachers were capable of using digitization in education in accordance with the standards of the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE).

It also aimed to identify whether there are any statistically significant differences between the answers of the subjects of the study, based on gender and place of residence variables.

To achieve the objectives of the study, the researchers employed a descriptive analytical approach, where a questionnaire consisting of (26) items was designed and divided into five topics in order to collect data from the subjects of the study.

The participants of this study are (231) Palestinian male and female teachers of mathematics chosen following the random simple approach.

The results of the study indicated that the degree to which Palestinian mathematics teachers were able to use digitization in education was generally of intermediate Moderate.

At the level of the sub-topics, the "facilitating students' learning and enhancing their creativity" ranked as the first topic, followed by "Providing a model of citizenship and responsibility", "Designing learning practices that keep pace with the digital era", "Participation in professional growth and leadership", then "Providing a model for education in the digital age".

Moreover, the results indicated that there are Statistically significant differences attributed to the variables of gender for male and place of residence for village residents.

In light of the findings, the current study presented a number of suggestions and recommendations.
