Abstract EN

The study aims to identify the degree to which science books for the first three grades include creative thinking skills, to achieve this, the descriptive analytical approach was used, represented by the content analysis method by preparing a tool that consisted of (30) sub-skills that follow (5) main skills, which are (fluency, flexibility, originality, overflow, and sensitivity to problems), and their validity and reliability were verified by appropriate statistical methods, The results showed that the total creative thinking skills included in science books for the first three grades in Jordan (first, second, and third) amounted to (1282) iterations, where first the science book for the third grade was solved (488) iterations.

It is followed by the science book for the second primary grade (411) recurs, and finally the science book for the first grade (383) recurs, The results also showed that the skill (flexibility) came in the first order, followed by the skill (originality), then the skill (overflow), followed by the skill (Fluency), and finally skill (sensitivity to problems),The study concluded with a number of recommendations, represented in : Developing science books for the first three grades so that creative thinking skills related to (sensitivity to problems) are included since they are the least skills included in science books, and the Ministry of Education adopting an appropriate standard to include creative thinking skills in books Science for the first three grades.
