Abstract EN

The study aimed to identify the levels of each of the reflective thinking, self-regulation and serious creativity, and to infantry the relationship between reflective thinking and serious creativity, and self-regulation and serious creativity, in addition to predictive capacity of reflective thinking and self-regulation in serious creativity among a sample of University of Jordan students.

The study was applied to a convenience sample from population, consisting of (800) students.

The study used the descriptive correlation approach, and used the scales of: Reflective thinking, self-regulation, and serious creativity, where the validity and reliability had verified.

The results of the study revealed that the Reflection thinking, self-regulation and serious creativity were at a high level in the study sample.

The results also showed a directly proportional relationship between Reflective thinking and serious creativity, and a directly proportional relationship between a self-organization and serious creativity.

Where the results of the regression analysis showed that the value of correlation coefficient between Reflection thinking and Serious creativity was (0.672), that the Reflective thinking has explained the ration (45.1%) of variation in Serious creativity, in addition that the results of the regression analysis showed that the value of correlation coefficient between Self- organization and Serious creativity was (0.454), and self-organization has explained the ration (20.6%) of variation in serious creativity, the study recommended to conducting more future studies on Serious creativity within new predictor and new variables.
