Abstract EN

The study aimed at estimating the degree to which faculty members in the college of education saber Lahj university, Practice their academic roles from the students’ point of view.

The study was applied to a random samples of (223) male and female students from all scientific department of the faculty of education- Saber university of Lahj.

the results of the study showed that the faculty members ‘ practice of their academic roles got a total average of (3.36 out of 5) with a grade of (medium) and at the level of fieds, evaluation skills got the highest average (3.37) and finally, personal skills and moral qualities with an average (3.32) and all of them with a degree of practice (medium),as the results of the study showed that there were no statistically significant differences at level (0.05) between the average responses of the sample members in the areas of the study tool according to the variable of specialization (applied – theoretical) and in light of the results, the researcher recommended designing training programs to develop roles the ethical, personal, professional and academic skills and evaluation skills of the faculty member, and adoption of the roles addressed by the study in evaluating the performance of the faculty member from the point of view of students and colleagues, in addition to proposals for studies completing the subject of the study.
