Abstract EN

This study aims at showing the impact of the industrial sector in the Jordanian economy through using the input/output tables.

This study depended on the descriptive and quantitative methodology to analyses the data depending on the input/output tables.

The study results have shown the importance of the industry sector and that it is one of the core and pioneering sectors in the economy on the basis of analyzing the front and rear attraction links.

The study recommended adopting clear and comprehensive plans for the Jordanian industrial sector and identifying the implementation priorities in this sector in addition to the necessity to update the construction of the input/output matrix for the Jordanian economy at least once every three years in order to update the statistical database.
