Algeria abounds with a tremendous popular cultural heritage, especiallythe folk tale, which represents the most prominent verbal cultural formsprevalent among because of its symbolic and declarative dimentions, expressing deep human experiences and revealing the situations that attractedhis attention in the various stages of his life, as well as not only raising issuesrather, it seeks to find solutions to it, as it is the people's office and the mirrorreflecting their reality, and the living record that recorded the various stagesof its development, hopes, pain, amitions and fears, and through it preservedthe summary of its experiences and judgment.

From this point of view, wedecided to search in this fertile and rich field of secrets in our desire toanalyse the symbols of a tribal tale entitled: "The century of gold and thecentury of silver" according to the mechanisms of stuctural human being, andthe interpreting its implications, deciphering its symbols and analyzing itspatterns
