The subject of this research relates to the Divan al-Raai al-Numeri study in view of textual standards, and he was organized in an introduction in which I addressed theimportance of the topic and why he was chosen, whereas the introduction was defined by the concept of the text, and the topic included the definition of the Numairian shepherd, the purposes of his poetry and the presentation of examples from them Acceptability, then the research was appended with a conclusion that mentioned the most important results and recommendations, followed by the index of sources, references and index of topics.

Yet, these studies, despite their abundance, were mostly representing a standard method not exceeding the sentence in the analysis, the statistics of linguistic and stylistic phenomena, and the semantic and circulative impact of words and structures.

Undoubtedly, they are venerable studies and the share of lingual studies was very little, i.e.

the Divan al-Raai al-Numeri text, so this study was in the light of text language science in which it takes care of studying the text through the superficial construction of sentence sequences seen as one whole away from division and disassembly and through the vertical construction of text, i.e.

studying the relations among the issues and associating the concepts and the profound structure, as well as studying the circulative impact of the text.

The concept of text today occupies the front in the linguistic, critical and cultural arena, as a result of linguists' contents of the necessity of exceeding the sentence and extracting the text from the narrow formal frame to the interaction among the speakers during the communication process and the study of linguistic behavior, because the interaction are not achieved by isolated sentences, but within the frame of a comprehensive address representing a basic unit that gathers all aspects contributing in the process of linguistic communication, especially while we witness now the absence of interims and limits between the specializations and human sciences, in the linguistic field.

Perhaps, this interference among the sciences is the greatest justification to abandon the sentence as a base for analysis and substitute it with the text because the text mission at the first place describes the various aspects of linguistic use forms and communication forms through the psychological linguistics and the social linguistics; thus the textual linguistics set off as text is a cohesion and coherent structure linking its components syntactic, semantic and circulative relations, hence this study seek to stand at this structure and observe the criteria that achieve the textualism; therefore, it was necessary to study Divan al-Raai al-Numeri in the light of the text linguistics in the frame of textual standards.
