Al-Naqeeb discussed in two separate papers on the kings of the Ayyubid state, in the first he dealt with glimpses of Saladin's achievements with the Franks, as he described Salah al-Din al-Ayyubi as a rare figure in Islamic history in general and Arab history in particular, explaining the reasons behind his fame.

As for the second research, it was about Al-Nasir Yusuf and the Mongol invasion of the Levant, in which he directed a sharp criticism of Al-Nasir Yusuf, describing him as the unforgettable personality in the Ayyubid history, not because of his achievements, but because he wrote on his hands the end of the Ayyubid state.
