The aim of the research is to identify the learning methods and their relationship to the skills of solving chemical problems among middle school students.

as well as to identify the strength and the relationship between the research variables.

The skill of determining the missing data necessary to reach the solution is the most used skill among the research sample.

As for the skill of determining the relationship used in the solution.

it was the least among the six skills.

There are different differences between the average scores of both males and females in the skills of solving chemical problems.

There is a discrepancy in the strength and direction of the relationship between learning methods and chemical problem solving skills among middle school students.

There are different effects of the independent variable (learning methods) on the dependent variable (chemical problem solving skills)
