Abstract EN

The current research aimed to identify the perfectionism of the teacher counselors, and to achieve this, the researchers built a measure of perfectionism according to the theory of Hweitt& Flett(1991).

In the middle schools in the General Directorate of Education of Karkh First, they were chosen by the stratified random method in the year 2021/2022, and after processing the data using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS), the results showed that the counseling teachers showed that enjoy a high level of perfectionism.

In light of the results, the researchers presented a set of recommendations, including : That the Ministry of Education work to increase attention to the category of mentor teachers, who are an important pillar of the educational process.

Holding training courses for the sample members and their participation in educational activities to enhance their positive qualities.
