The current research aims to identify : The degree of academic passion among university students.

Differences in the level of academic passion among university students according to the variables of gender (male- female) and specialization (science-human), The researcher used the descriptive correlative approach.

and the current research community consisted of the students of Anbar University with a total number of (23193).

distributed according to gender to (9150) males.

making up (39%) (14043) females.

making up (61%).

and distributed according to specialization To (11227) scientific and they constitute (48%).

(11966) human and they constitute (52%).

For the humanities.

and to measure academic passion.

the researcher adopted the scale of the researcher (Vallerand et al., 2003).

and extracted the veracity of the translation for it.

and the researcher reached the following results : University students have a good level of academic passion.

There are no statistically significant differences in academic passion and its dimensions according to the gender variable, while there are statistically significant differences in academic passion and its dimensions according to the specialization variable in favor of scientific colleges.
