The self-confidence of the adolescent is one of the most important aspects of emotional development, especially if we know that the adolescent is greatly affected by childhood experiences.

From cruelty, deprivation, and arbitrary treatment, or the loss of both parents or one of them, fathers have an important role in fulfilling the psychological and physiological desires of their children and give them care and help in every big and small, where we find that adolescent orphans lose their parents or lose one of them on their lifestyle and personalities, including From negative repercussions that limit their social interaction and prove themselves due to the low confidence in themselves, and since the current research sample is represented by orphaned adolescents, the researcher sought to study the self-confidence of orphaned adolescents The researcher has verified : Measuring the self-confidence of orphaned adolescents, Preparing the self-confidence scale, which the researcher relied on in its preparation according to Ericsson's theory, and the number of its paragraphs was (31) distributed over two areas, and in front of each paragraph there are three alternatives given when correcting (3,2,1) for positive paragraphs and (1,2,3) for paragraphs Negativity, and the psychometric properties of the scale were verified, and the stability was found by testing and re-testing, as it reached a value of (0.83).

Appropriate statistical methods were used in the current research.

The results of the current research showed that the research sample represented by orphans adolescents had a decrease in the level of self-confidence.
