Abstract EN

The current research aims to build a training program based on theory of brain-based learning to develop scientific thinking skills for secondary school students.

The research sample consisted of 300 female students of the 4th literary grade from schools affiliated to the Directorate of Education in Baghdad /Al-Karkh 3rd, and to achieve the goal of the research the researchers prepared the content of the training program and the training guide for female students (the training sessions plan) including four strategies : (KWL, discussion, brain storming, cooperative learning) and their supporting activities.

where the researchers reached the preparation of 12 sessions for the proposed training program, then an exploratory experiment was conducted on a sample of fourth grade literary students whose number was (20) students from Al-Rabbab preparatory school to ensure the duration of the sessions, the provision, of training supplies, and the selection of appropriate activities.

The researchers used a set of statistical methods whether in the research procedures or in analyzing its results.

The statistical program was used the statistical package for social sciences (SPSS), In light of the research results the researcher's recommended a set of recommendations and suggested a set of proposals.
