The character is an element of the story made of speech, which describes it, depicts it, and conveys its actions, meaning that it differs from the person, as it does not exist outside the words, ideas and connotations of the novel, and it belongs to the story and not to the discourse that represents one of its effects.

That the features of the character appear and the existence of the conflict and its paths become clear, and the successful novel is the one that depends in its heroic dimension on a character who stores in her mind and conscience the seeds of conflict, and moves within the narrative according to it, that is, it is characterized by its presence, emotions and thoughts, and its presence is equivalent to the focus of the dramatic tension of the novelist text.
