تمثل المدينة الايكولوجية أحد التوجهات الجديدة في تخطيط المدن والتي تسعى الى انشاء مدن صحية وذلك من خلال اعتماد استراتيجيات وعلى عدة ابعاد في تقليل الملوثات والحفاظ على النظم الايكولوجية الحضرية والتي تمثلها الفضاءات الحضرية الخضراء (كالغابات الحضرية والأراضي الرطبة والحدائق والمتنزهات والمسطحات المائية كالأنهار والبحيرات والجداول (المائية.
يمكن وصف المدن العراقية اليوم على انها مدن غير صحية، ذلك لما تتعرض له من ملوثات المصانع ووسائل النقل ولما تعانيه من نقص كبير في مساحة فضاءاتها الخضراء والمتمثلة ب (البساتين والمزارع) والتي تعد أحد انظمتها الايكولوجية المهمة والتي يساعد وجودها على تخفيف الآثار السلبية للأنشطة البشرية في المدن ومن هنا قد تبلورت مشكلة البحث التي تتحدد ب " النقص المعرفي حول نهج المدينة الايكولوجية وكيفية تضمين ابعاده في تخطيط المدن يهدف البحث الى استخلاص اهم الابعاد التي تتعامل معها المدينة الايكولوجية، وذلك من خلال تحليل ثلاث تطبيقات عالمية لمدن ايكولوجية".
اعتمد البحث المنهج الاستقرائي في طرح المفاهيم، وذلك من خلال التركيز على المفهوم العام للإيكولوجيا ومن ثم تناول أحد مفاهيمها المتمثلة ب (الايكولوجية (الحضرية واستخلاص المفاهيم المرتبطة بها، ولأن تلك المفاهيم تحدث بالمدن، لذا فقد تناول البحث علاقة الايكولوجيا بالمدن من خلال تناول نهج المدينة الايكولوجية ليتم استخلاص اهم الابعاد التي تتعامل معها عن طريق تحليل ثلاثة من المبادرات العالمية للمدينة الايكولوجية والتي تمثلت ب مدينة مصدر/ أبو ظبي، محلة B001 / مالمو، مدينة فانكوفر / كندا).
Abstract EN
Eco-city is one of the new urban planning approaches, which aims to create healthy cities by adopting a set of strategies and on several dimensions that to reduce pollutants and preserve urban ecosystems which are represented by urban green spaces and water bodies.
Today, the Iraqi cities can be described as unhealthy cities, due to the pollutants of human activities and the great shortage of their green spaces (orchards and farms) which are one of their important ecological systems that helps in decrease the negative impacts of human activities.
Hence, the research problem has been identified as "the lack of knowledge about the eco-city approach and how to include its dimensions in urban planning".
The research aims to "extract the dimensions that the eco-city deals with, through the analysis of three worldwide applications of eco-cities".
The research adopted the inductive approach in presenting concepts, by focusing on the general concept of ecology, then dealing with one of its concepts represented by (urban ecology) and extracting the concepts associated with it.
Finally, the research dealt with the relationship between ecology and cities that to extract the most important eco city dimensions by analyzing three of worldwide eco-cities (Masdar / Abu Dhabi, BO01 / Malmo, Vancouver / Canada).
