Social responsibility towards the nation has a significant impact, it aims to benefit the local community, promoting sustainable development and raising awareness with the great benefits of preserving national and cultural heritage.

despite the cultural diversity of the South Sinai society, the survey and interviews conducted by the researcher have shown that it has not been able to raise awareness of the importance of the responsibility of the South Sinai community in preserving the community's cultural heritage and the extent to which this affects the sustainability of tourism.

the purpose of the research is to highlight the importance of raising awareness of affiliation to preserve Egyptian identity to achieve sustainable development in St.

the study relied on distributing of 300 surveys to a random sample of the local community and heritage sites.
