Abstract EN

The current study aimed to measure the role of job satisfaction as a mediating variable in the relationship between the government financial information management system and organizational commitment, by applying it to employees of the ministry of finance.

to achieve this goal, field data was collected from the study population through a survey list prepared to serve the goal of the study, and to test its hypotheses.

it consists of three main parts (the government financial information management system- job satisfaction-organizational commitment).

data was collected from 434 individuals from the employees in the study population, and the data was analyzed using the statistical package for social sciences (SPSS V.

23), and the statistical package for social sciences.

the study reached several results, the most important of which is the presence of an indirect positive moral effect of the dimensions of the government financial information management system (financial and accounting operations management and information technology management) on organizational commitment when mediating job satisfaction, as the overall positive effect increased to reach (0.282) after it was (0.175) before mediating job satisfaction, which are significant effects at the 1% level.
