Abstract EN

The global climate change is as one of the current key issues traded on the international, regional and even the national debate tables; where it involves the complex interactions with negative repercussions that have affected different dimensions of the food security, especially the nutrition one in the countries around the world, and the world's poorest in particular.

therefore, the present study aims to search on the rational construction between the climate changes and the food security in a geographical region, which is the most susceptible the negative effects in the region of sub-Sahara Africa.

the study concluded that the agriculture and the livestock are the economic pillar to achieve the food security in the countries of the sub-Sahara Africa.

accordingly, the climate desperation and changes in this region further aggravate increase risk of the food insecurity, which required a clear and multi-pronged strategy to mitigate the climate changes, adapt with, as well as to address with the challenges facing this region; and that differ from country to country depending on the extent to which the climate change affects the food security in these countries.
