This study aims to demonstrate the role of the effective adoption of democratic standards in empowering Arab women with their political rights, and the role of this in promoting equal opportunities and equality between women and men in political life in the context of the global trend towards rationalization and governance of political systems.

we have concluded that the rates of women's political participation in Arab parliaments vary from one country to another, as a result of the political situation of each country, which confirms the close relation ship between political stability and the reality of women's political empowerment.
