Does a person have the absolute right to express what is on his mind? certainly, the answer is no, expressing an opinion is a responsibility and a right that should be limited by the group’s rights and the limits set by the law as well.

if the law is the architect of rights, then it is also its regulator.

the Algerian legislator guaranteed us the right to express our opinion by all means used for this purpose.

he also guaranteed us the right to worship, whether for citizens or foreigners.

however, he refused to allow any infringement on what is sacred in religion under the name of freedom of speech.

for this reason, he criminalized any insult to the Qur’an, the messenger, and any known religion.
