Protecting the environment in which we live is essential, and developing our lives in line with our needs is also important.

all contemporary environmental legislation seeks to achieve sustainable development; its environmental and development policies must evolve.

what is the Algerian legislature's position? the following problematic was therefore raised: what is the impact of the evolution of Algerian's environmental legislative mechanisms on the achievement of sustainable development? in order to answer this problematic, we used the descriptive approach, through which we divided the study into two axes: the conceptual framework of environmental legislative policy, and the second on the constitutional, legislative and international impact of Algeria's environmental and development mechanisms.
