The utmost importance that the principle of legal security has acquired at the level of various contemporary legal systems, by which the quality of any legal system in any country has become measured, through providing a legal environment that has the stability, clarity and ease of access to the rule of law, which leads inevitably to attracting the largest possible amount of foreign investments with the aim of boosting the economic development.

therefore, we find that legal security plays an important role in protecting the industrial property of the foreign investor through providing legal guarantees, by enabling the foreign investor to file a civil or criminal lawsuit to deter any violation of his industrial property rights.

however, these mechanisms face the obstacles of their insufficiency to establish the necessary protection, or their dispersion in various legal texts.
