The growing interest of Algeria in renewable energy is manifested through a series of measures underpinned by a national strategic program extending to the year 2030.

this program includes pioneering projects, particularly in the fields of solar and wind energy, supported by regulatory and legal mechanisms that incentivize the development of renewable energy due to its paramount importance in achieving sustainable development.

this has been highlighted in this research paper by shedding light on the legal framework adopted by Algeria to encourage investment in these energy sources and promote their advancement.

this is achieved through the establishment of laws and institutions for the effective management of this vital sector, capable of meeting the increasing demand for energy in Algeria, especially in isolated areas distant from electricity and natural gas networks.
