Private conversations for individuals are manifestations of the sanctity of their private lives that involve their secrets and privacy, so it was the subject of civil and criminal legal protection, but on the other hand, with criminals resorting to the use of modern means of communication in committing their crimes, the national and comparative legislative will has devoted an exception to this general rule in order to prioritize the public interest from the private interest of individuals, allowing law enforcement agencies to conduct eavesdropping on phone calls with formal, subjective controls that widen and narrow depending on the place, time and nature of the crime.
