For decades, the African continent has witnessed many military coups, military coups have become a widespread phenomenon in many African countries, this is what made many researchers poses many questions regarding the causes of this phenomenon and its various implications on those countries, in this research paper, we will try to identify precisely the most prominent of those reasons that lead to the phenomenon of military coups in African countries and make them recur constantly, then we will address a number of implications that entail the phenomenon of military coups in African countries.
