As long as imagination constitutes the basis and essence of the creative process according to Hazem al-Qartajani, as the good composition of speech lies in the goodness of what it includes of imagining it and independent simulation, then poetic poems must be imitated with what suits them in terms of meters and imagination of the souls, so that this imagination forms an artistic poetic element that contributes to the construction of the poem and gives it its character is pure artistic taste, and perhaps this is the focus of our research by examining the extent of correspondence between theory and practice, or rather the theory of imagination according to the Carthaginian and what his poetic mind implied.
