Violence is one of the societal phenomena prevalent in most regions of the world and in Algeria in particular, and is not limited to a certain age group.

negativity in which violence is a major cause such as sabotage, destruction, suicide, murder and others.

violence has many forms, there are verbal, psychological, family violence and violence in schools and neighborhoods, and it has multiple and manifold causes specific to each society.

in this article, we will talk about methods of reducing violence in residential neighborhoods from the point of view of psychoanalysis- an analytical study- and we will propose a number of solutions to reduce this problem and the societal phenomenon, and the causes leading to it.

it has occupied a lot of psychologists and social researchers' thinking, especially since knowing the causes of violence makes us investigate in an effective way by building psychological-analytical strategies to reduce this phenomenon.
