Charitable societies are considered one of the institutional phenomena at the present time that supervise the collection and distribution of Zakat, and in light of the multiplicity and diversity of the sources of Zakat funds, and the endeavor of these charitable societies to meet the economic and social needs of the poor and the needy, in line with achieving the purposes for which Zakat was legislated, raises the question of the extent to which it can be disposed of charitable organizations receive Zakat funds by changing their financial nature from cash to in-kind or vice versa.
