This research dealt with one of the important morphological phenomena, which is the phenomenon of morphological alternation in the poetry of Safwan bin Idris, which in its entirety is an observation of the alternation that exists between the derivatives: (subject noun, object noun، suspicious adjective...etc), and the alternation existing between derivatives and infinitive, which is To put another form in place to perform the meaning performed by the first morphological form, towards: the use of the subject noun, meaning: the accusative name، and the opposite، and the use of the infinitive, meaning: the accusative name, and the opposite، and analyzing how their morphological forms alternate، and the linguistic context is what determines the intended meaning، This is what this research attempts to explain based on a number of poetic evidence in the poetry of Safwan bin Idris.
