The topic of the research revolves around the field of urban planning, which represents a cornerstone in the life of society and work to develop the cadres working in this field because it is the tool responsible for planning a comfortable and safe urban environment, because it is one of the methods used in the field of modern or contemporary planning, which is based on population density.

The city and its balanced distribution of services, and works to reorganize the urban center in order to provide the various facilities for the residents and ensure a safe life for them while preserving the city’s archaeological and modern architectural heritage.

Therefore, this study seeks to study the planning, design and social factors to reduce crime and achieve security in cities, through their understanding and analysis of their effective role in planning a safe residential environment.
