Studying the extent of protection for industrial perfumes is required, Because of the many violations that many industrial and commercial products are exposed to, If the formal conditions stipulated by the law are met for a particular perfume the law intervenes to extend its protection, The aim of legal protection is to encourage innovation and creativity, It guarantees the right of exclusivity and obtaining a financial return as a result of exploiting its innovation in a specific field, However, there are no special rules for the protection of industrial perfumes, So we return to the general rules of civil liability, Which was stipulated by the Iraqi legislator in civil law no.40 of 1951, We note the extent to which the con perfumes are met, And the consequences of this protection.
