This research included a theoretical، descriptive and applied study of the transformations of the gari shin sound and the palatal kaf sound in the Iraqi dialect.

it is a phonetic phenomenon that has its ancient historical roots that go back to the ancient semitic language and ancient dialects.

in the Iraqi dialect، there are many phonological transformations، and the morphological phenology of the sounds of the shin gari and palatine kaf.

the phonological transformations included many phonological phenomena such as substitution، slurring، and kinetic concordance.

the research summarized the reasons for the phonetic changes and transformations in the words selected from the Iraqi dialect، as well as a statement of the phonetic justification for their occurrence.

and also determining the place or governorate in which these transformed sounds were pronounced.

all of this was based on hearing from linguistic narrators who are residents of the Iraqi provinces.
