This research deals with the role played by the various national authorities, whether official or unofficial, in protecting the rights of girls who are inside prisons, and girls are juvenile females who have not reached the age of eighteen, as this group suffers from major problems within the penal institutions in In Iraq، where they do not have their own places in accordance with the requirements of international charters and instruments، and these groups were not granted the rights indicated by the internal laws and international charters by the penal institutions, and this requires bodies to monitor the penal institutions until a minimum level of rights granted to these groups is guaranteed.
