Abstract EN

The aim of the research is to build a scale of social interest among the students of Mosul University, and also aimed to identify the level of social interest among the students of Mosul in general according to its fields as well as, to identify the statistical differences in the level of social interest among the students of Mosul University in accordance with the gender type variables ( Males, females), classroom (second, fourth), academic specialization (scientific, humanitarian).

The research community included (21869) distributors on (24) colleges for scientific and humanitarian specialization, where the number of second graders (11448) and the fourth grade (10421) reached the number of males (11105) and females by (10764), while the research sample was chosen in a class and adult random manner (804) Students, and it constitutes a percentage of (4%) of the current research community.

To achieve the objectives of the research, the scale of social interest consisting of (50) paragraphs in its final form have been built.
