Abstract EN

This study aims to find out the extent to which google services for smartphones meet the scientific and educational needs of university teachers at the university of may 8, 1945, Guelma.

the study sample consists of 34 teachers, and we relied on the descriptive approach and we used the online survey tool to collect information and the SPSS pack for data analysis.

the study reveals that that university teachers have physical, technical and linguistic capabilities, that enable them to employ smartphone applications in the learning and research process, and use them to a high degree, especially in the electronic messaging (Gmail), searching for information, browsing and following news (chrome), and attending meetings and conferences (Google meet).
