The theory of cognitive intersectionality or interdisciplinary studies is considered an embodiment of a new thought, which has made studies spread in various fields and fields under multiple names, such as interdisciplinary studies and interdisciplinary research, all of which seek to transcend penetration into specializations without knowing the borders adjacent to one specialization.

the narrower the horizon, the narrower the horizons.

however, the term is new in the Arab environment in general and in our Algerian universities in particular, where this type of studies is still in the process of preliminary development.

from this perspective, we wanted to delve into the problem of the term and try to overcome the confusion that exists in the network of family concepts that converge with interdisciplinary studies, which later makes it easier for researchers to choose term and avoid confusion between similar concepts.
