Abstract EN

The current quantitative study aimed to find out the motives of students' participation in recreational activities in university residence, we relied on the descriptive analytical approach, and a questionnaire was designed and distributed to 80 students, the data were analyzed statistically percentages supported by the coefficient of good match KA2, and the results of this study indicated that there are (5 statistically significant and 1 is not statistically significant in relation to psychological and mental motives, the first axis), and (6 statistically significant in relation to health and physical motives, the second axis) that students have positive motives towards participating in recreational activities, and therefore the researchers recommend working to spread the culture of participation in recreational activities among students university residences as part of the general culture.
