Abstract EN

In this work, we studied the transformations of the marital bond in the Tunisian family and the crises that have disrupted the couple's life in the last decades after independence.

we have tried to explain the logic of men's and women's divorce behaviour and its variance according to the applicant's gender, the type of divorce requested and social background.

in the analysis, we adopted a hypothetico-deductive approach to test three hypotheses on the effects of urbanity on couples' divorce behaviour.

what is certain is that the birth of the Tunisian marital family from within the extended family was difficult, and that the new couple encountered difficulties in adapting to the changes and harmonising individual rights with the preservation of the marital family.

Dans ce travail, nous nous sommes intéressés à l'étude des transformations du lien conjugal dans la famille tunisienne et ses crises qui ont bouleversé la vie du couple au cours des dernières décennies après l'indépendance.

nous avons tenté d'expliquer la logique des comportements des hommes et des femmes en matière du divorce et sa variance selon le sexe du demandeur, le type du divorce demandé et le milieu social.

dans l'analyse, nous avons adopté une approche hypothético-déductive pour tester trois hypothèses portant sur les effets de l'urbanité sur le comportement du couple à l'égard du divorce.

ce qui est sûr, c'est que la naissance de la famille conjugale tunisienne du (au) sein de la famille élargie a été difficile, et que le nouveau couple a rencontré des difficultés pour s'adapter aux changements et harmoniser les droits individuels avec la préservation de la famille conjugale.
