From independence to the present time, the Algerian university has changed many reforms that have achieved results, but despite that it still suffers from many obstacles, especially the gap between university graduates, the requirements of economic development, pedagogical obstacles and poor administrative management, which caused the declining position of the Algerian university among international universities.

thus, we seek, through this research study, to try to analyze the problematic relationship between the development of the Algerian university and the approach to knowledge management, after the knowledge management approach confirmed its great importance in the possibility of university advancement, as a questionnaire was built and distributed to a sample of professors from the two universities estimated at 50 items, they are based on the sample survey method, which includes descriptive statistics methods, based on the statistical packages for social sciences program SPSS.
