Abstract EN

The present study aims to identify the semantic memory in children with epilepsy by comparing them with normal children, the study is based on the comparative descriptive method, the study sample consisted of 14 children (8 normal children and 6 children with epilepsy).

it uses many tools; sampling ones which includes: the observation, interview, clinical history, socio-economic level questionnaire, intelligence test and collection tools which includes, semantic memory test of Saad Abdel Aziz, statistical processing tools of the Mann Whitney test.

where the study found that there are statistically significant differences at level of semantic memory between normal and epileptic children.
