Sawsan Nagi has devoted her critical efforts to forming a critical project aimed at reading cultural memory from a feminist perspective with the goal of reconsidering prevailing values, customs, and traditions.

Despite the controversy surrounding the legitimacy of discussing feminist literature and criticism, transcending the question of legitimacy to examine how feminist literary criticism is received in the Arab context has become imperative.

The reception of critical theory is a process of acculturation between critical production in the global critical scene and the critical heritage in our Arab culture.

Moreover, studying Arab reception of literary criticism with a focus on Sawsan Nagi's critical project contributes to revealing the features of this acculturation process more clearly.

This study aims to provide a critical reading of the acculturation process for Sawsan Nagi's books, which have addressed various aspects of feminist criticism.

Sawsan Nagi published thirteen books in Arabic literary criticism, most of them study aspects of the women literature.

Samples of these books are "Woman in the Mirror (A Critical Study of Feminist Novels)," "The Image of Men in Women's Stories," "Awareness of Writing in Contemporary Arab Feminist Discourse," "Fear of Writing," "A Critical Approach to the Identity of Writing in Women," "In the Identity of Literary Writing," and "A Reading of the Memory of Arab Female Writers." Self-Writing: A Reading of Identity Discourse." Considering Sawsan Nagi's overall critical corpus, this study formulates its questions as follows: 1.

What are the general features of feminist critical discourse in Sawsan Nagi's work? 2.

To what extent does harmony between feminist thought and Sawsan Nagi's depiction of identity in this critical discourse achieve? How? To address these questions, the study will discuss three main ideas: • The purpose of criticism in Sawsan Nagi's critical discourse.

• Sawsan Nagi's vision of the relationship between literary criticism and literary and critical feminist discourse.
