It has appeared through our research and study the renunciation of Ibn Masud, May Allah be pleased with him, which we have confirmed in the current paper.

This subject is so important in order not to relate any speech or advisory opinion to him that he renounced later.

The study therefore illustrates the issue of marrying the mother before the defloration her daughter.

He believed that it was possible for a man to divorce the woman before the defloration and then to marry her mother.

However, it appeared to us that he renounced his opinion later and prohibited such type of marriage relying on the evidences that he got, the beliefs of the Four Doctrines and of the good ancestors.
