Abstract EN

This paper discusses the modes of Governance and its impact on the mapping of the organizational structure of museums; and the matters that results from museum subordination to the LINE DEPARTMENT Mode of Governance.

The scholar discuses also the four traditional modes of governance : LINE DEPARTMENT; ARMS-LENGTH BODES, NONPROFIT OR CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONON; and PRIVATE ONWERSHIP.

It also points out the features of each of these modes, its advantage and disadvantage.

It discusses the PARTNERSHIP mode of Governance in museum management in light of the modern economic and administrative transformation, and the most important advantages of PARTNERSHIP and its role in overcoming the problems of traditional systems.

The paper also monitors the relationship between the ownership authority and the administrative body, and the impact of the administrative body in its organization and structure.

It also discusses the negative effects that some of these systems pose to the work system and its regular cycle.

The paper concludes with a recommendation to expand the transformation of governance systems for museums affiliated with the LINE DEPARTMENT and ARMES-LENGTH BODIES into PARTNERSHIP, which achieves more flexibility in the work system while maintaining the museum's commitment to its declared mission, and work etiquette.

In addition to its role in enabling the museum to attract investments and financial support to achieve the sustainability and raise its ability to carry out its mission.
