Abstract EN

Since the first origin of theater, It's been always changing.

Ancients did not quit renewing and improving the theater.

All literary and artistic genres have been developing over time.

On the other hand, the theater has witnessed a number of changes since the raise of theater directing in the nineteenth century.

During this period new critical terms have been brought to the surface such as neo-drama and post dramatic theater.

Accordingly , it is no wonder that it is due to various factors including the diversity of visions that the Algerian theater has seen some experiments in order to renew the theater and drama from both perspectives : directing style as well as types of dramatic texts.

Furthermore, the present study discusses one of Mohamed Charchal’sworks “GPS” including the important signs of renewing drama in this play.
