Abstract EN

The importance of the research included in studying the measure of the efficiency of cognitive representation of information and its relationship to the performance of referees in volleyball in order to contribute to raising the level of referee to the highest level and achieving the best levels.

The first in the Iraqi volleyball league is reflected in the result on evaluating their technical performance, and it also has a role in influencing the results of the matches, so the researcher decided to prepare a measure of the efficiency of cognitive representation, which contributes to improving the performance of referees for the purpose of reaching correct arbitral decisions.

The aim of the research is to prepare a measure of the efficiency of the cognitive representation of the referees of the first class of volleyball referees in Iraq and to identify it.

In volleyball, which numbered (64), the researcher chose all members of the community as a sample for research by 100%, and then the researcher divided the sample into exploratory, preparation of scales, and the main experiment sample to measure the efficiency of cognitive representation.

The researcher conducted the exploratory experiment on a sample of the same research community, which numbered (10) first-degree judges, and then the researcher applied the scale to the sample of numbers, a group of judges numbering (30) judges, and after completing the preparation of the scale, the researcher distributed it to the sample of the main experiment.
