Abstract EN

The current study aimed to identify the level of practicing leadership tasks among principals of public secondary schools in al-Balqa governorate in Jordan, and the researcher relied on the descriptive approach to achieve the purpose of the study.

the study sample included (212) individuals from al-Balqa Governorate managers, and the questionnaire included (3) axes: administrative practices, technical practices, and humanitarian practices9 the results of the study showed that the level of practicing leadership tasks in the field of technical tasks came in the first rank with the highest arithmetic mean of (3.98), while the administrative tasks came in the last rank with an arithmetic mean of (3.90), and the arithmetic mean for the tool as a whole was (3.94).

the study revealed that there were no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05α≤) between the averages of the leadership tasks of the male and female principals of public secondary schools in Qasaba al-Salt according to the gender variable, and the emergence of statistically significant differences in the leadership tasks, which are administrative and humanitarian, and the total degree of leadership tasks among qualified students.

the intermediate diploma and the bachelor qualification, so that the significance of these differences was in favor of the intermediate diploma qualification.
