Abstract EN

This study aims to demonstrate the impact of ancient Arabic poetry in enriching the poetic text of Abu Ishaq al-Alberi (d.

460 AH), as well as the role of the noble hadiths of the prophet, and his ability to evoke them, and re-employ them in new images that serve the poet's poetic experience.

the research is divided into: an introduction, a preface, and two chapters.

the introduction dealt with: the significance of the study, its objectives, methodology, and parallel studies.

the preamble stopped at the theoretical framework of intertextuality, and its importance in the treatment of literary texts.

proceeding from the fact that a literary work can only be understood and comprehended by evoking previous or contemporary texts.

the first topic dealt with: al-Ilbiri's intertextuality with ancient Arabic poetry, and revealed the mechanisms of his invocation of these texts.

as for the second topic: it sheds light on the poet's statement of the noble hadiths of the prophet in terms of meanings, ideas and images.

the study concluded with a conclusion in which the most important findings were recorded.
