Consensus is one of the grammar principles that the grammarians adopted as a guide on which the rules are built after both listening and analogy.

Consensus has received a lot of attention from Ibn Jinni and Al-Suyuti, and confirms that the grammarians are affected by the means of jurisprudence inference, and that it is the meeting on something and agreement on it.

The linguistic consensus is divided into three branches: the consensus of the Arabs, the consensus of the Basrians and the Kufics, and the consensus of the Basris or the Kufics.

It is mentioned in the grammarians’ books and found with multiple words, and from this is what the grammarians say when mentioning a matter: They agreed on it, and they agreed on that, and there is no disagreement in that, or without disagreement, and one saying, they are all synonymous in the sense of unanimity.

In the modern era, Sheikh Muhammad Muhyi al-Din, who combined investigation and authorship, is considered one of the scholars whose counterparts are few, for his services in many fields, including language, and the care of Islamic heritage books in teaching, writing, directing and investigation.

And his achievement of the Galilee grant, which represents the juice of his mind and the summary of his ideas in the field of language and grammar and it is a fertile field for us to stand there and try to present the position of Sheikh Muhammad Muhyi al-Din on the authority of consensus.

We have stopped at several places in which the Sheikh was exposed to an authentic origin of Arabic grammar.

We have carefully selected them, displaying his opinion and the opinions of the grammarians who preceded him
